Christine Laura Camacho is originally from New York where she earned her B.A. in Legal Studies at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Christine had always wanted to become an attorney and therefore she continued on her journey to achieve her goal at Charlotte School of Law, where she earned a law degree in 2011. After passing the North Carolina Bar Exam and becoming a licensed attorney in 2012, she became a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar and the North Carolina State Bar. Christine is a Notary Public for the State of North Carolina and is a board member for the Latin American Chamber of Commerce.
Christine began her career in the area of criminal law. Through this practice, she was exposed to various family issues. It was then when she found her love for family law and has been helping families through separation, divorce, custody and child support cases for many years. Through her involvement with the Hispanic community and her ability to speak Spanish fluently, Christine has also been able to represent clients with various immigration issues, including removal proceedings in Immigration Court.
Although born in New York, she has called Charlotte home since 1999. Christine is an avid Carolina Panthers fan and tries to attend the games when she can. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family, which includes her two dogs.
