Sulema Yepes

Sulema Yepes Garcia is originally from Monroe, North Carolina. She earned an Associate’s Degree in
Paralegal Technology in May 2022 and went on to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at
the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in December 2024.

Sulema began working in the immigration field while still in college, discovering a passion for helping others during diffi cult times. She thrives in roles where she can provide support, take initiative, and make a meaningful impact.

Currently, she works as a Legal Assistant at Sussman Law Firm, where she helps empower individuals and families navigating the immigration system. Known for her attention to detail and proactive approach, Sulema is solution-oriented and brings empathy to every client interaction. Her understanding of personal and legal challenges allows her to serve clients with compassion and dedication.
