Ivanna Gonzalez

Legal Assistant

Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Ivanna Gonzalez McNinch moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with her family at the age of three. She graduated from First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills in 2021. In July of that same year, she was granted DACA status, opening new opportunities for her to pursue higher education and career goals.

Ivanna relocated to Wilmington to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Since 2021, she has gained valuable experience working at local immigration law firms, developing a strong passion for immigration rights and legal advocacy. She became a North Carolina Notary Public in May 2022, further expanding her legal credentials.

Currently, Ivanna is working toward obtaining her NC Paralegal Certification and recently moved to Charlotte to live with her husband while he pursues his Master’s degree. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is dedicated to giving back to the Latino community. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, volunteering at animal shelters, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband and family at the beach.
